RESTAURANTS AND CENTRES
Our restaurants also provide ‘a la carte’ meals to the public. Gourmets are
offered Euro Meets style – a combination of Czech food-preparation technology with
dishes and ingredients offered by European gastronomy. The Bristol restaurant on the 5th
floor of the hotel has 140 seats. The stylish restaurant in the Bristol Palace has two
small salons, the Club Lounge and the Moser Lounge. The cafe in the Bristol Palace Hotel
offers a choice of desserts and mixed drinks as well as dancing evenings. In summer, our
visitors can treat themselves with fresh grilled meat at open-air restaurant at the Royal
Villa.
Serving the meals:

Lunch (12.00 – 14.30) – choice of 6 meals of each diet including vegetarian,
fish or meatless diet, great choice of salads and stewed fruit

SPA DIET SYSTEM
An inseparable part of the complete spa treatment is a therapeutic nutrition and diet
regime, prescribed on the basis of the spa diet system. The diet regime is set out by the
physician; food is chosen and checked by a diet nurse, who is at the patient’s
disposal every day. All meals offered are prepared from ecologically pure food and their
quality is checked daily by a physician.
Basic diets:
Rationalized diet : Basic spa diet prescribed for most spa medical indications as a diet
regime.
Pancreatic diet : Fatless diet for pancreas diseases.
Sparse diet with reduced fat : Diet for diseases of gall bladder, gall duct and pancreas
after alleviation of the acute state. During convalesce after viral hepatitis and
intestinal dyspepsia.
Low cholesterol diet : Diet for hypercholesterolemia, dyslipidemy, for patients with risk
factors of arteriosclerosis and heart and vascular diseases.
Reduction: 1200 kcal, 1000 kcal, 600 kcal : Diet for patients who are recommended to
reduce their weight.
Diabetic diet: Diabetes mellitus diet.
Diabetic sparse diet : Diet for diabetes mellitus, chronic disease of gastrointestinal
tract, chronic hepatitis, chronic pancreatitis.
Special diets:
Diet without gluten : Diet for gluten intolerance.
With reduced purines : Diet for gout.
Salt-free diet : Diet for kidney diseases.
Precisely defined reducing food : Low-fat, with high content of vitamins, minerals and
necessary components of food, for those who suffer from clinical obesity.
Biotherapy : Together with drinking of Orion natural spring mineral water– ischemic
heart disease, dyslipoproteinemia, obesity, neurovegetative dystonia, fatigue syndrome,
prevention of diseases of civilization.
SOCIAL FACILITIES
In the refined atmosphere of its centers, the Bristol Group organizes banquettes, parties,
receptions, symposiums, congresses, meals for groups, weddings, family celebrations, open
bar parties, cocktail parties, gala dinners with menu and meals after customers’
wishes. In the romantic surroundings of Karlovy Vary, we prepare garden parties with
grilled fish and meat.TREATMENT
Genuine Karlovy Vary mineral water has been led into each of the Bristol Group
hotels, where it is used for baths and other procedures. Each hotel has its own balneology
facility as well as a physician’s surgery. Both a physician and a nurse are available
twenty-four hours a day. The recommended stay is 21 – 28 days, but it can be either
shortened (7 – 14 days) or prolonged to several weeks. Basic medical examinations are
part of the treatment. The physician determines curative regime (procedures) and the diet.
Patients who come should have health insurance and bring medicaments they use every day
with them. During their stay, all patients can go through highly specialized examination
of cardiovascular system, digestive organs, bones and apnea and consult with physicians.
Special curative programs target certain diseases (diabetes mellitus, weight reduction);
wellness and fitness stays and light healing stays.
MEDICAL SERVICES
Initial, controlling and outgoing examination, minimally once a week, more as needed,
indicated diagnostic tests, prescribed diet, drinking regime and procedures and targeted
education of patients. Interpretation of biochemical and other examinations, suggested
follow-up treatment at home, outgoing medical report.
Laboratory examination.
Basic biochemical urine and blood examination.

examination, bicycle-ergometry, 24-hour monitoring of EKG and blood pressure,
echocardiography, spirometry, cardiologic examination, video-gastroscopy, video-coloscopy,
pH testing, oesophagus manometry, gastroenterologic examination, densitometry, apnea
(interruption of breathing during the sleep) examination, dermatologic examination,
sonography of abdominal organs and kidneys, consultative urologic, gynecologic,
orthopedic, neurological, pediatric and otorhinolaryngologic examination. Complete
classical massages, aroma-massages of the head and neck, manual lymph drainage, colon
therapy, laser, gerovital treatment, oxygen-therapy, acupuncture, manipulation,
intra-articular application of Synvisc, individual therapeutic physical exercise. Patients
pay for medicaments and for the food delivered to the room. Ambulatory procedures can only
be provided after medical examination.
Cancellation fees:
29 - 16 days: 10% of the total price
15 - 7 days: 20% of the total price
6 - 2 days: 30% of the total price
less than 2 days: 50% of the total price
