History: Centralni lazne was founded as the so-called Stare Lazne (Old spa) at the spring of Maria at the beginning of the 19th century. The original building has been renovated and extended several times. It got its current appearance through the complete reconstruction carried out by the architect Josef Schaffer during the years 1889 - 1892 and invested by the Tepla monastery, which was the owner of the building. The coat-of-arms of the abbot Clements is located on the facade.

Spa Hotel Centralni lazne is located close to the spa colonnade with its singing fountain. It offers guests traditional balneal treatment utilizing local natural healing sources.
