History: The building was constructed as the Carlton hotel after project by the architect Josef Forbeirich between 1909 and 1907 by the builder Ignác König. The hotel building is an architectural curiosity, especially its facade with a number of neo-Gothic, neo-baroque, renaissance and Tudor elements. Surprising is the fact that each floor was designed in a different style and that each window is of a different size. The Zörkendorfers were the owners between 1908 and 1945.

The Spa Hotel Svoboda forms, together with the dependances Margareta and Palladio, a complex of spa-treatment buildings which are 30 metres and 50 metres from each other. This spa hotel complex is situated in a quiet area of a wooded park near the Forest Spring.

Rooms: hotel guests are provided with accommodation in Standard category rooms equipped with a bathroom with a bathtub or a shower and a toilet, a TV set with satellite programmes, a refrigerator and a telephone.

Cathering: Guests at the spa hotel Svoboda and the Margareta and Palladio dependances have a restaurant "Carlton" at their disposal in the hotel Svoboda. The restaurant can cater for up to 184 persons.
The Restaurant Carlton: breakfasts are offered in buffet form, lunches and suppers are served individually. Guests can choose from a number of dishes of Czech as well as international cuisine or from a wide variety of dietary dishes.
Cafe Svoboda: a pleasant atmosphere with a wide range of desserts and drinks, regular dance evenings.

Treatment: In the spa hotel Palladio there are doctors’ consulting rooms and a medical ward in which complete balneal care is provided. Part of the balneal treatment are medical procedures utilizing natural medical sources, hydrotherapy and a further wide range of medical treatments focusing on diseases of locomotor apparatus, respiratory ducts, kidneys and urinary tract, gynaecological diseases and disorders of the metabolism and glands with internal secretion.

Procedures: Bubble and rotational baths, air-jet, underground massage, mud packs, dry CO2 gas bath, gas injections, classical and reflexive massage, reflexive foot massage, healing gymnastics, inhalation, paraffin packs, electro therapy, ultrasonic, pulse magneto-therapy, lavatherm, lymphoven, oxygen therapy, myostimulator, acupuncture.

Mineral baths and part of hydrotherapy are provided to guests at the spa hotels Centralni Lazne and  Nove Lazne.

Guests at the Margareta Annex check in at the hotel Svoboda reception. Accommodation is provided in Standard category rooms equipped with a bathroom with a shower and a toilet, a TV set with satellite programmes, a refrigerator and a telephone. Meals are served in the spa hotel Svoboda, part of treatment procedures is done at the Palladio Annex, other treatment procedures are provided in the spa hotels Centralni Lazne and  Nove Lazne.

Guests at the Palladio Annex check in at the hotel Svoboda reception. Accommodation is provided in Standard category rooms. Meals are served in the spa hotel Svoboda, part of treatment procedures is done directly at the Palladio Annex, other treatment procedures are provided in the spa hotels Centralni Lazne and  Nove Lazne.
